Soweto International Comedy Festival featuring Tokollo ‘One Hit Wonder’ Magesh

Why is it that every time we start smiling at Magesh at the play ground while playing with other kids he will be quick after that to get himself into trouble? Just two weeks ago we had forgiven Tokollo for causing an accident on his way to or was it in Botswana?, anyway this guy just can’t separate himself from trouble. Tokollo ‘One hit Wonder’ Magesh has been reported in the news papers to have beated one of his ‘close’ friends and fellow band member of Kwaito group TKZee, Zwai Bala, with a sharp object across the face. Our next question would be what happened to a slap or a friendly verbal warning between friends, news report that apparently Tokollo called Zwai and said, and we quote ‘wozo dlala nathi ngaphandle, ngithi ngaphandle’ and as Zwai was responding to the call Tokollo just slapped him across the face with a sharp object, Zwai reported the matter to the police and have since released Magesh on a R1 000 bail.

A few weeks ago #thePremiumTeam remembers Tokollo to have made great music with Da LES and Khuli Chana but we didn’t know that when he said in his music and we quote ‘sizobabamba sibashukeshuke sibaphonsele phezulu’ he meant this with an image of his friend Zwai in mind. Tokollo should be ashamed of himself for beating an elderly man like that regardless of the fact they went to school together, this is not the South Africa that we fought for. Tokollo stop it, stop hurting the children and play nicely.
