North America’s Cortney Gee and Cleveland’s King Of Comedy, he has shared the stage with modern humour luminaries such as Katt Williams, the late Bennie Mac, Steve Harvey, Mark Curry, DL Hughley and Jamie Foxx  while making appearances on BET’s Comicview, he has also been on HBO’s Def Comedy Jam and most recently Martin Lawrence’s widely popular First Amendment Comedy Showcase. *put your #BoityReaction here*

 

 

Brian Higgins2Europe and the UK is represented by Brian Higgins, a master-class in how to perform good comedy – even at the Edinburgh Comedy Fest’s Fringe. Joseph Opio5From the East of what we call home in Africa we have Joseph Opio, a Ugandan stand-up comedian and television show host whose razor-sharp wit, original material and impeccable delivery has already earned him an impressive reputation back in his home country and is gaining respect gradually also on the South African comedy scene. A trained lawyer and qualified accountant, Opio is one of those rare comedic talents that are comfortably at home both on stage and on the screen.

 

carljoshuancubeZimbabwe just next door to us is represented by Carl Joshua Ncube. Carl’s amazing comedy talent has seen him perform extensively in the continent of Africa, if you don’t believe what you reading then ask people from Botswana, Zambia, Uganda, South Africa, Kenya, Nigeria and even New York in the States about how funny this man is, he is really funny trust us. This versatile comedian was described by CNN African Voices as the “New face of Zimbabwean Comedy”.

 

 

DaveSouth Africa’s very own Dave Levinsohn was born in Springs, but he is okay now. Jokes aside though this superstar comedian who moved up to Joburg from Cape town has been described as ‘off the wall’ and off the cuff, having started comedy in Cape town in 1997, he’s become one of SA’s most bankable comedy acts. Dave is not new to international comedy festivals as he is one of South Africa’s first stand-up comedy artists to be invited to perform at The Edinburgh Fringe Festival in the UK. *put your #BoityReaction here*

 

 

Jay BoogieTo his fans from within South Africa’s borders and fans from South Africa’s 10th and 11th unofficial provinces, Lesotho and Swaziland, he is known as Jay Boogie but to his parents and the rest of his family he responds to Jordaan Mazibuko. This Soweto born natural comic does smart, quirky, street-wise comedy and comedy that draws from everyday’s experiences. His brand of comedy is an unapologetic, raw and tells the truth for what it is style of comedy. *put your #NakedIssues here*

 

 

_MG_9902Limpopo born and Soweto raised Kedibone Mulaudzi has enjoyed great success within the comedy genre starting out as an advertising creative, he has performed in countries like South Korea, the United States of America, Tanzania, Zambia, the United Kingdom, Lesotho, Swaziland and Botswana. His comedy set ranges from childhood upbringing, daily observations in his life, local and international current affairs and a bit from everyday conversations especially the uncomfortable topics rarely spoken about.
